Liability (Supplier)
Liability (Customer)
The user (customer) has the authority to report through GasGlide app any gas tank deficiency to the supplier within a two-hour period, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining service quality standards.
Supplier Onboarding & Responsibilities
1. User (Suppliers) interested in onboarding with our delivery app must register, upload relevant documentation such as business name, business address and vehicle roadworthy certificates also with fire permit for each individual car on their fleet, submit payment and billing information, and await review and approval by the GasGlide app administrators.
2. We reserve full discretion to approve or reject user (supplier) applications based on their eligibility and suitability, with the final decision resting with the app’s management.
3.Users (Suppliers) using our app are responsible for providing timely and accurate gas delivery services, ensuring the maintenance of product quality, good customer care and strictly adhering to safety standards throughout the delivery process.
4. The user (supplier) is solely responsible for conducting background checks on all its employees (driver/assistant), and it is not the responsibility of GasGlide app to perform or verify these checks.
5.The users (suppliers) must maintain sufficient inventory to meet customer demand effectively to avoid customer dissatisfaction or unfulfilled orders.
6. The user (supplier) bears the utmost responsibility for quality and quantity control, ensuring that the gas delivered consistently meets the required standards and is free from contamination, adulteration, or compromise. In the event of any lapses, customers have the right to report such incidents within the gas delivery app, and GasGlide app reserves the authority to take necessary actions, including banning the supplier from further supply on the platform.
7. Timely gas deliveries are of utmost importance, and users (suppliers) are expected to adhere to delivery schedules set forth by our app, ensuring that users (customers’) needs are met promptly and reliably. Punctuality and consistency in meeting delivery timelines are crucial in providing a seamless and satisfactory experience for all app users.
8. All users (suppliers) must comply with all relevant South African safety regulations and protocols for handling and transporting gas, ensuring the safety of both their personnel and customers.
9. All users (suppliers) are responsible for obtaining and maintaining appropriate insurance coverage, including liability insurance, to protect against potential risks associated with their operations.
10. Users (Suppliers) should be aware that the GasGlide app will implement a rating system, where users (customers) can rate their experience with the user (supplier). These ratings will play a significant role in determining the users (supplier’s) selection for future deliveries within the app, highlighting the importance of delivering exceptional service to maintain a favourable reputation and gain more opportunities for deliveries.
11. We will conduct periodic performance monitoring of users (suppliers), taking into account factors such as on-time deliveries and customer ratings, with the aim of maintaining quality standards and ensuring a consistent and satisfactory experience for all GasGlide users.
12. GasGlide reserve the right to terminate the user (supplier’s) partnership with our app in the event of non-compliance with terms and conditions, poor performance, or any behaviour detrimental to the app’s reputation.
13. All users (suppliers) must maintain the confidentiality of any confidential information shared by GasGlide app and should respect the app’s intellectual property rights.
14. GasGlide app will include the submission of invoices following each delivery, payment schedules as agreed upon, and any applicable fees or deductions. Moreover, suppliers will have the convenience of receiving real-time soft copy receipts within the gas delivery app once their personnel successfully complete a delivery.
15. All users (suppliers) must adhere to data protection guidelines and regulations, ensuring the security and confidentiality of any user (customer) data or information shared through our app.
16. GasGlide app reserves the right to amend or update the terms and conditions for user (supplier) onboarding and responsibilities, notifying users (suppliers) of any changes in a timely manner.
17. Users (Suppliers) must provide vehicles to their personnel (drivers) that have up-to-date car registration, roadworthy certification, fire permits, plaque cards, fire extinguishers mounted outside the vehicle, visible car reflectors, and adhering to trim card requirements. Failure to meet these requirements renders the vehicle unfit for operating on the gas delivery app, and the user (driver) is strictly forbidden from using such a vehicle for gas deliveries. If caught by the authorities with an unfit vehicle, the GasGlide app holds no responsibility for the situation and will not assume any liability.
Driver Onboarding & Responsibilities
1. To register for GasGlide app, South African users (drivers) are required to submit their South African ID, Code 10 or Code 14 driver’s license with a dangerous goods permit. Foreign users (drivers), on the other hand, need to provide their passport, traffic register, SAdc license (if available), or their country-of-origin license with an international license and a certificate of dangerous goods. These requirements ensure compliance and safety in the gas delivery operations.
2. Users (Drivers) who submit a police clearance document not older than 6 months during the registration process on the GasGlide app enjoy the advantage of demonstrating their commitment to safety and reliability, further boosting their chances of being selected for gas delivery opportunities.
3. Users (Drivers) must accept supplier vehicles that have up-to-date car registration, roadworthy certification, fire permits, plaque cards, fire extinguishers mounted outside the vehicle, visible car reflectors, and adhering to trim card requirements. Failure to meet these requirements renders the vehicle unfit for operating on the gas delivery app, and the user (driver) is strictly forbidden from using such a vehicle for gas deliveries. If caught by the authorities with an unfit vehicle, the GasGlide app holds no responsibility for the situation and will not assume any liability.
4. We have the right to accept or reject driver applications based on their eligibility and suitability, ensuring the app’s management has discretion in the decision-making process.
5. While using the gas GasGlide app, users (drivers) are responsible for safely transporting gas, strictly adhering to traffic laws and regulations, maintaining punctuality as timekeepers for deliveries, and always providing professional and courteous service to customers.
6. It is of utmost importance for users (drivers) to diligently follow all safety protocols and guidelines as per their dangerous goods certificate training, particularly those pertaining to the proper handling and transportation of gas. Adhering to these protocols ensures the safety of both users (drivers and customers) throughout the delivery process.
7. Timeliness in delivering gas orders to users (customers) is crucial, and users (drivers) must prioritize adhering to delivery schedules and fulfilling orders promptly. This commitment is essential as there is a rating system in the GasGlide app that assesses driver performance, where timely and efficient deliveries contribute to positive ratings and customer satisfaction.
8. Users (drivers) are advised to maintain a high standard of professionalism and ethical conduct, treating customers, app representatives, and colleagues with respect and courtesy at all times.
9. GasGlide app stresses the importance of complying with all traffic laws and regulations while driving, ensuring the safety of oneself, other drivers, and pedestrians, failure to do so we reserve the right to ban such user (driver) from GasGlide services.
10. As users (drivers), it is your responsibility to diligently maintain delivery vehicles and ensure their compliance with all liability requirements mandated by local regulations.
11. Users (drivers) should avoid conflicts of interest that may compromise their ability to provide impartial and fair service, such as engaging in competitive activities that conflict with GasGlide services.
12. Dear users (drivers), please be aware that our valued users (customers) have the ability to provide ratings and reviews based on their experience with you. Consistently low ratings or negative feedback may impact your continued partnership with us. We encourage you to provide excellent service and uphold our standards to ensure a positive and long-lasting relationship with our users (customers).
13. GasGlide reserves the right to terminate the users (driver’s) partnership in the event of non-compliance with terms and conditions, poor performance, low ratings, or any behaviour that is detrimental to the reputation or safety of the app and its users.
14. We reserve the right to amend or update the terms and conditions for user (driver) onboarding and responsibilities, notifying users (drivers) of any changes in a timely manner.
Customer Onboarding & Responsibilities
1. To create an account on GasGlide app, users (customers) are required to provide their full name, date of birth, phone number, home address, and email address during the registration process. These details are essential for account verification and seamless delivery service.
2. Please note that the GasGlide app is strictly intended for use by individuals who are of legal age, which is 18 years or older. Users (customers) must meet the eligibility criteria to access and utilize our services. If our app is used by a person under the age of 18, we do not assume any liability for any incidents that may occur.
3. GasGlide emphasizes the importance of maintaining account security, including using strong passwords, not sharing login credentials, and promptly reporting any unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
4. To place a gas delivery order through our app, simply follow these steps:
* Open the app and log in to your account.
* Navigate to the gas delivery section and select your desired quantity of gas.
* Provide the accurate delivery address or our app will capture your location automatically with the help of your phones GPS location.
* Select your preferred delivery time slot from the available options.
* Double-check your order details and confirm your delivery request.
* Sit back and relax while our reliable delivery team brings the gas to your doorstep at the specified time.
5. To ensure a seamless delivery experience, we provide an option for users (customers) to input specific delivery instructions or preferences within the app. This allows you to provide gate codes, preferred drop-off locations, or any other relevant information that users (suppliers) should be aware of to fulfil your order accurately and efficiently.
6. Users (customers) are kindly reminded that they are responsible for providing accurate and valid payment information through our app, as well as authorizing transactions for gas deliveries. It is important to ensure the accuracy of payment details to facilitate seamless and hassle-free transactions.
7. We want to assure our users (customers) that their personal and payment information will be handled with the highest level of confidentiality. GasGlide app strictly adheres to relevant regulations regarding data privacy, employing robust measures to protect and secure user (customer) data. These measures include encrypted communication, secure servers, and compliance with applicable data protection laws, ensuring that your information remains safe and protected at all times.
8. Users (customers) are granted the right to use GasGlide app and its services, with the expectation that they will do so responsibly and in strict compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines.
9. We highly encourage users (customers) to provide correct and up-to-date information, particularly when creating their accounts and placing gas delivery orders. Ensuring accurate details for phone number, name, payment information, and delivery location/home location allows for seamless transactions and precise delivery, resulting in a smooth and efficient experience for everyone involved.
10. We kindly request users (customers) to respond promptly to any notifications or communication from GasGlide app. Your prompt response ensures efficient coordination and smooth order processing, enabling the user (supplier) to deliver your gas promptly and provide you with the best possible service experience.
11. We value your feedback! As a user (customer), you have the opportunity to provide ratings and feedback for the gas delivery service you receive. Your valuable input contributes to our continuous improvement efforts and helps other users make informed decisions. We appreciate your participation in shaping a better gas delivery experience for everyone.
12. We strongly emphasize that users (customers) should utilize the GasGlide app and its services solely for the intended purpose of ordering and receiving gas. It is crucial to refrain from any misuse or engagement in unlawful activities while using the app, ensuring a safe and reliable experience for all users.
13. To make informed decisions, it is imperative that users (customers) thoroughly read and understand the gas delivery app’s terms and conditions, pricing, delivery policies, and any other relevant information provided. This ensures clarity and enables users (customers) to have a clear understanding of the app’s guidelines and policies before proceeding with gas delivery orders.
14. We strongly advise users (customers) to comply with all local laws and regulations concerning the purchase, storage, and use of gas. This not only ensures safety but also guarantees legal compliance in all aspects of handling gas, ultimately promoting a secure and law-abiding environment.
15. We highly encourage users (customers) to promptly report any issues, complaints, or concerns they may have regarded GasGlide app. Your feedback is invaluable in helping us improve and enhance our services, and it allows our dedicated support team to address and resolve any issues effectively, ensuring a seamless experience for all users.
16. Our cancellation and refund policy entail that users (customers) are eligible for a refund if they cancel their gas delivery order within [specified time limit]. However, refunds may be subject to certain conditions, such as adhering to the cancellation procedure outlined in our terms and conditions. We want to ensure that users (customers) are aware of their rights and responsibilities regarding cancellations and refunds to maintain transparency and provide a satisfactory experience.
17. GasGlide reserves the right to terminate a user’s (customer’s) access to the app and its services in the event of non-compliance with terms and conditions, engaging in fraudulent activity, or misuse of services. This measure is taken to maintain the integrity of the platform and ensure a safe and reliable experience for all users.
18. For security and liability reasons, we strictly prohibit users (customers) from collecting personal phone numbers from gas delivery drivers. If a subsequent delivery is arranged outside GasGlide app with suppliers not associated with the app, GasGlide app will not assume any liability whatsoever. We kindly request customers to solely utilize the app for all their gas delivery needs to ensure a safe and dependable experience.
